April Sound POA

The April Sound POA, which is separate from the Country Club, can be found at www.aprilsoundpoa.com or you can call 936-588-1188.

In April Sound all residents are charged a quarterly maintenance fee, which is currently $150. This is the only POA fee for the majority of the subdivision, and covers the cost of a full security staff at the front gate, including patrol units, and subdivision upkeep. Some townhomes and condos in the subdivision require additional monthly maintenance fees however.

The April Sound Golf Course features 27 holes of challenging golf. The most recently renovated Blue nine is the best of the three according to most members, but now that all three are open, playing front to back (white to blue) offers a full par 71 course championship course, with an extra par 32 Red nine for walking on. The course also features an aquatic driving range, which is very rare and sets up for an interesting time on the range.

The April Sound Tennis Facility offers members 12 tennis courts, 4 covered courts and 8 outside courts. So rain or shine, you can play tennis. The courts are being resurfaced and the tennis proshop has recently been redesigned. The new changes make the April Sound tennis facilities among the best around Lake Conroe. The club has developed an April Sound Tennis Association consisting of Ladies leagues, Men & Ladies night, Interclub matches, Benefit tournament and Friday night mixers. The Tennis Club provides an experienced professional staff and high quality tennis instruction.
